HISTORY
THE HISTORY OF THE SCHOOL THE BEGININGS : The beginnings of this institution take us back to a date much earlier than 1910. Then it wat only a primary school, known as the Town High School Branch with a modest strength of 60 pupils. It was in 1912 that the Ist form was started there. From then on the strength of the school began to increase and in due course the second form also was started. during those years the school was functioning under may handicaps, the chief among them being the lack of suitable building. For may years the school was conducted in a rented house, situated opposite to the temple of Sri Ranganayaka Swamyvaru in Arundelpet. It has to face severe competition from another school situated in the same locality. Inspite of such unfavourable factors, the strength of the school increased fast and the management was obliged to find additional accommodation. In 1926 some, classes were shifted to Sri Valluri Jagannadham Pantulu's buildings in Arundelpet, 3rd line. After a few years all the classes were shifted to the same place.
